LGBT App
PridePal is an app I created for my Interactive Design class in order to educate middle-school children about proper eddicate surrounding queer individuals.
As a nonbinary person myself, I found that most young people who are offensive, are simply offensive because they do not know any better. This app was designed in order to humanize and teach young people how to interact with queer individuals without accidentally offending someone.
Storytelling
Storytelling, regardless of what art you are presenting, is essential. Illustration simply supplements that creative flow of thought. While not every job requires the artist to illustrate, it does require the artist to tell a story. That is part of what makes art itself so successful. It communicates an idea to the audience.
